Every One His Witness is an evangelism training module produced by the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. It teaches the participants how to share their faith in their everyday lives. Following the core module, participants are then able to access modules that cover different witnessing contexts. It is based on LASSIE approach: Listen-Ask-Seek-Share-Invite-Encourage.
Redeemer Lutheran Church in Claremore, Oklahoma held an Every One His Witness workshop on Saturday, March 18. Members and pastors from other congregations attended as well.
Workshops like these are a great way to not only learn, but to put our witnessing into action. It is designed for the participants to leave not only being better equipped to share, but also thinking about specific people with whom they can share the Good News!
As the Evangelism Executive for the Oklahoma District, one of my responsibilities is to help congregations go through this training if they so desire. I cannot recommend it enough. The best and most effective way to reach the lost is still individual relationships and the private witnessing of God’s faithful people to those outside the faith.
